Tento 8portový řadič, skládající se z 4 interních a 4 externích portů, plně podporuje disková pole RAID a je určen pro rozhraní PCI-Express x8.
Nabízí plnou ochranu bez baterií, maximální škálovatelnost, bezúdržbovost a jednoduchou správu polí RAID typu 0, 1, 1E, 5, 5EE, 6, 10, 50 a 60, to vše managovatelné pomocí Intelligent Power Management a ASM prostřednictvím sítě s podporou protokolů SNMP a SMTP. Tento řadič nabízí kompletní podporu SAS (Serial Attached SCSI). Dále pak standard Serial ATA 3 Gb/s, který rovněž zahrnuje technologie jako "Native Command Queuing". Ta umožňuje řazení příchozích příkazů tak, aby je disk mohl provádět co nejefektivněji (tedy s minimálním přesunem hlav apod.). NCQ se projeví především při náhodném přístupu k disku, který bude v budoucnu stále častější.
